| The Faux Group was commissioned to design a new outdoor entertaining area and to renovate the gardens at the ambassador's residence. The ambassador's wife requested that the new gardens be designed around a Japanese American friendship motif, combining garden styles and plants from both countries. The residence was designed by the renowned Japanese architect, Isoya Yoshida and all new elements were to be carefully detailed to harmonize with his original concept. |
