Odenton Town Center The Odenton Town Center is one of three County designated town centers. Served by MARC transit, it adjoins the Fort Meade Army Base, as well as two large residential PUD communities. Odenton has struggled for decades to attract significant new retail, office & industrial growth. Working with County staff and a fifteen member-citizen Odenton Oversight Committee, we created a new, more flexible Development Master Plan, new design standards, & a new zoning ordinance that elevated the plan to regulatory status. Since these new tools were adopted in 2004, several creative, redevelopment and mixed-use projects have been initiated on key Odenton properties.
